The Handbag Vs the Marc Jacobs Handbag

There are only two ways to choose, only two ways to be. In fashion it may be far more evident, as to whether you dress like your illustrious fashionistas and rich celebrities or dress to be the person you’ve built within God’s given graces. So what does any of this have to do with a handbag and a Marc Jacobs handbag? Everything. A cheap designer handbags bought upon notice of a fashion trend is a bag meant for a robot. A Marc Jacobs handbag however, is made differently and for the distinct woman who stands out with a glow of her own. The reason is a man who set himself apart form the norm.

Born in New York City in April 1963, Marc Jacobs was a young talent that already stood out. He expressed a great talent for design since his childhood which he nourished further in the High School of Art and Design. He eventually entered Parson’s School of Design after graduating in 1981. There he built his own classy and innovative style which earned himself numerous awards such as the Design Student of The Year honors and the Chester Weinberg Gold Thimble. He was also the youngest designer awarded with fashion’s highest honor, The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent. In 1999, he was again awarded but this time with the CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year.

His talent gave notice to a few supporters. He had worked at the prestigious Perry Ellis design house but was booted out for the highly acclaimed grunge style he made for the company. Supporters of his work never stopped loving it, though as a collection in his own name gained much success which brought him to produce another in the name Marc by Marc Jacobs which also includes the distinct Marc Jacobs cheap designer handbags . Today, Marc Jacobs is the creative director of Louis Vuitton.

In 2000, Jacobs brought out his first Marc Jacobs handbag collection. As he extended his style in fashion, Marc Jacobs handbags reflected his unique creativity and sophistication which he has never allowed to ride with trends. His signature grunge look has made Marc Jacobs handbags distinctly edgy. He expanded his line of handbags under the Marc By Marc Jacobs collection which also included various signature accessories. Later in 2002, he and friend Christy Turlington, designed the Yoga bag for the benefit of Cancer Care. Marc Jacobs’ talent for design hasn’t ended here and more will surely come whether in a Marc Jacobs dress or a Marc Jacobs handbag.
